* Regular registration fee and reduced fee for PhD students include attendance to all lectures and poster sessions, conference materials, refreshments during breaks, two lunches (Thursday, Friday), and all social events (welcome dinner, poster sessions get together and conference dinner). Important note for SBD members: to be eligible for reduced fee your SBD membership fee for the year 2023 must be payed before submitting the registration form.
** All students must present proof of status at the registration desk.
*** Registration for BSc and MSc students: attendance to all lectures of a particular day, conference materials and refreshments during breaks. Lunches, welcome dinner and conference dinner are not included. Please note that only limited number of such registrations is available (max. 10 per day). In case that a number of such registrations exceedes max. number for a particular day selection will be done considering date of application, participation type and study programme. Each applicant will be contacted by the organising committee regarding the selected dates for attendance.
**** Daily registration fee is available on-site only and includes: attendance to all lectures of a particular day, conference materials, refreshments during breaks, lunch (if on programme) and any social events planned for that particular day.

After submitting registration data you will receive two e-mails:
- first e-mail is sent automatically and contains a summary of registration data;
- the second e-mail will be sent once the organising team checks your SBD membership status. This is done at regular intervals, however not every day. This second e-mail will contain the registration fee and detailed payment information.
Participants selected for short oral presentations will be notified (e-mail) by the scientific committee after the evaluation process is completed (expected in July 2023).
Abstract submission guidelines
Participants are invited to present their work as a poster or an oral presentation. Abstracts must be submitted at the time of registration, before the deadline (May 15th, 2023).
Abstracts must be prepared in English. Abstract text should not exceed 2000 characters including spaces and should not include the title, authors and institutions. The title of your abstract should not exceed 140 characters including spaces.

Abstracts submitted for "oral or poster presentation" will be considered for oral presentation by the scientific committee. The outcome of the selection process will be communicated after the abstract submission deadline.
Important note for BSc/MSc students: abstracts can be submitted by BSc/MSc students directly only if the mentor/corresponding author (CA) is unable to attend the conference. Please note that in this case the mentor/CA must agree to the contents of the abstract; the note on agreement must be sent personally by the mentor/CA via an e-mail to the organising team () together with a personal recommendation for the applicant (BSc/MSc student as presenting author). The acceptance of submitted abstracts and their selection for poster/oral presentation is at the discretion of the scientific committee.
Poster size should be close to A0 paper format (849 mm in width and 1189 mm in height).
The number assigned to your poster will be listed in the book of abstracts. Please, attach the poster to the correspondingly numbered stand. Materials for attaching the posters will be available at the stands. (Presenting) Authors are responsible for attachment and removal of the posters.
Posters are expected to be on display from Wednesday (20 September) to Friday (22 September). There will be two poster sessions, in each approximately half of the posters will be presented (to be announced in July/August 2023).
